Fox and Friends

Image
If you were thinking about getting this stamp set you better act today. Here's a cute card I made with the monkey from the set Fox and Friends. I love how you can make the set work for a boy card or a girl card. Plus there's a stamp of a turtle. Who doesn't love turtles?? Today is Amanda's horseback riding lesson. Last Friday it rained so her lesson was canceled. It's starting to rain right now and her lesson is in an hour. I hope it stops. Here's some pictures from Jessica's lesson yesterday. I'm loving the horse Rocky. He's a rescue horse from a family going through a divorce. They had stopped feeding him so he lost a lot of weight. I fed him an apple yesterday and gave him a good brushing. He's the sweetest horse and so loving. I can give him a big hug and he puts his head on my shoulder. I love him. Please keep him in your prayers to put on weight. Jessica on Patches You can see Rocky's ribs which is not a good thing. He's pr

SWAPS!

Image
I just had to show off the swap I made for my demo meeting. Jeannette and Linda had some great swaps too but I'll just show mine today. Of course when I made this swap everything on it was current but now the paper and the felt is sold out. At least you can still get the Charming set. :) Here's some unstampin' stuff to tell you about. My turtle that I thought laid 10 eggs really laid 14 eggs. I can't believe it! But I did find another turtle yesterday in the habitat and then later in the morning I found 3 more. I think that's a world record or something. LOL. Here's a picture of the newest baby. I named her Polka Dot. She's so cute! I wanted to find all the babies at the same time and take a picture of them all but I can't find them all. LOL. Maybe tomorrow morning I will. Happy Stampin' and turtle watching!

Pansy flowers with punch

I was touring my favorite blogs and saw a great new idea. See Dawn's Blog . She uses our butterfly punch to make these beautiful pansies. I had to try it myself so here's what I came up with. I'm pretty happy with my first try at it. Maybe we'll make this card tomorrow for Stamp Club. If you want to come to the class it's only $5. Let me know if you are coming. Happy Stampin'!

Are you ready to be a Stampin' Up! girl?

My two daughters are! LOL. They would love to be Stampin' Up! girls and sell Stampin' Up! but they have to wait until they are 18. Darn! But I would love to grow my team and have more friends to stamp with and share this wonderful business opportunity. My hobby started just over two years ago and has grown into a business that helps me pay for my hobby. By holding classes, workshops and clubs I have been able to enjoy stamping, scrapbooking and more. Do you have a few questions about becoming a demo? Check out the questions below and see if becoming a Stampin' Up! girl is right for you. FAQs about Being a Demonstrator 1. What are the minimum sales requirements? You only need to submit $300 in sales per quarter. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up!® workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20 percent discount and commission. 2. What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business? Lookie at these two colors together

Image
Okay, I've been looking at my cardstock and I realize I have a lot of cardstock in colors that are retiring. I'll need to use this up so if you want to make some cards I'll be doing a few stamp a stacks. Here's a card I made this morning using Taken With Teal and Apricot Appeal. I used the Rhinstone brads I have and colored in the eggs with the matching marker and aqua painter. I hope you like it. I have a mountain of laundry so I better get busy on putting it all away. Have a great Monday!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Image
Today is my birthday and I decided that since I'm always making cards and never sending them I might as well make a card for myself. LOL. I don't have to send and I can keep it forever since it's to me. :) You already know that some of my favorite In Colors are coming back. I thought I would put together three colors that haven't been together yet with a color that is retiring. I also wanted to use a turtle since I love turtles. Here's what I came up with: What do you think? Colors: Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze and the one retiring is Close To Cocoa.  I would have used a Wild Wasabi marker to hellp color the turtle but they didn't make those two years ago. Oh wait! Starting in July there will be markers for all In Colors! Woo Hoo! Since Wild Wasabi will be a core color it'll have a marker too. I also created the Christmas Card we'll be making on the 18th. Lookie: Remember to RSVP if you want to come to my class. I hope you all

I love Stampin' Up!

Image
Okay so you might be wondering why I'm so in love with Stampin' Up! It's true that I love to stamp and create cards and Stampin' Up! makes all that easy. But I have to say that the reason I love them today is because they brought back some of my favorite In Colors! I am so excited about this! I'm sure there are some favorites that you loved and wished for them to never retire. You may have even stocked up on paper and bought the reinkers for your ink pads, like I did. LOL. Well now you'll be able to restock some of those colors again. Who loved Baja Breeze??? Who was so sad to see it retire??? Who is screaming ME!!! Well guess what...Baja Breeze will be coming back. So will Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi (I know!!!), River Rock (totally!!!). Plus a few In Colors from this year: Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry. WOO HOO!!! Here's a little something I made with Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette and a little
