Stampin' Up! finally has made a stamp set to go with feather framelits . Yeah!!! Check out this card I sent to my team members for being so awesome! I love the colors: daffodil delight, coastal cabana, calypso coral. I used the background hardwood stamp in Baked Brown Sugar. I truly am thankful for my team of TURTLES. Recently I was invited to join an online bible journaling group. They are amazing artists creating beautiful art in their bibles or journals. This really appealed to me so I started to do a bit of art myself.   I am using Stampin' Up!s This and That Journal instead of my bible (I just can't do that yet). I usually get inspired by a verse from the bible that I have read on Facebook. Then I use my stamps, inks, markers, stickers, etc. to create a page in my journal. While making the page I read the passage several times and think about what it means to me.   God works in our lives and encourages us to follow our dreams. I enjoy making cards, crafting and scrapbooking. Here's a huge sign from God saying that I'm doing what I should be. I am just now posting the pictures of the crop and updating my blog with all the fun we had.   My church stepped up and helped me this year by hosting the event. The lighting wasn't as bright as the other venue and it was a bit more cozy but everyone had fun. My display board and table.  I was designing the classes I taught that day. No joke!   The boys worked so hard making jambalaya! I want to thank Olive Garden for supplying the salads and gift certs for the goodie bags. I also want thank all the vendors including: Scraphappy from Pensacola Origami Owl Initials Inc. Jamberry Nails doTERRA Oils Mary Kay Close to My Heart Stampin' Up! I do this event every year and raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This year I was able to raise over $1000.
