Tie Dye Technique is fun to do

Here's a quick video of me doing the tie dye technique. I hope you like it. I had to hold the phone and "paint" the alcohol at the same time. I'm also entering the card I made in the SUO Challenge . Visit their website to see all the awesome projects that people post. I used Pacific Point and Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White cardstock. Make sure you really ink up the paper. The darker the better. You can apply it however you want but for this one I put the lighter color in the centers and darker color around them.   Poor some rubbing alcohol in a bowl and use a paint brush to apply alcohol to your cardstock. Trace around the circles and add drops and dabs here and there. Watch the video to see how I did this.   Here's what it looks like when it's done. Tuesday Messy Desk

Well actually everyday is messy desk day. LOL. But at least with this blog post you'll be able to see me create something out of the mess. I was busy making tonight's card class so this is what's left there to work with for tomorrow's amazing creation! Tonight we are learning to sponge like a pro. This is my monthly supper club and we get together to eat and have fun stamping. I'm excited to show my friends how to do this card below. It's using Soft Sky (a new color they brought back. Yeah!) Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso and the ribbon is Baked Brown Sugar. Oh and the green is Pear Pizazz. I love the new back ground stamp. The look of wood without embossing through the big shot. This is a must for any serious crafter. Endless possibilities. Oh and I love the polaroid framelit!
