Join me on Periscope tonight

Hello! I'm starting to do a monthly scope for card making. Want to join? Make sure you follow me on Periscope so you'll be invited to watch. It's a fun interactive way to participate in my class without having to fly, drive or teleport from your location. LOL. I'll be starting the scope around 7:15pm Central Time. I hope you can check it out. Replay will be available for 24 hours. We'll be making that cute Valentines Card. Have a blessed day! Jackie

Valentine's for my sweet girls

Image
Okay so my two darling daughters need Valentine's right? I have made a bunch of cards lately and most of the ideas I get from Pinterest. So these two are from cards I saw and did a little tweaking. I hope you like them. I enjoyed making them. It's fun to try to make the cards I see online. Maybe you can get inspired by these two cards and make your own. Feel free to email me a picture of what you make. Can you guess what stamps I used? You might be surprised by the swirled pink on the bottom one.

What's on my desk? It's a mess!

Well here it is Tuesday again. I should tell you that I'm excited now when I wake up and it's Tuesday. This means I get to create something out of the mess on my desk. Yep. This mess below: will be transformed into a beautiful card for you all to see tomorrow. So check back and see what I make. In the mean time take a look at the card we made with my Hostess Club: We used the Acetate and Tissue Technique to create this beautiful card. I also used the Valentine Set that came out last month. It's only online (not in a catalog) so check it out here. There's a new deal too this month that you should know about. Paper Pumpkin has a new promotion for new subscribers. When you sign up to receive Paper Pumpkin you'll also get a set of In-Color Markers for free. Click below and get all the details: https://mypaperpumpkin.com/en/ Make sure you pick me as your demonstrator. I offer extra project ideas and send out a cute welcome card to each subscriber. ...

Easy Valentine Treats

I really love this time of year. Love is in the air and there's so many fun ideas to try with making Valentine's. My girls and I make our Valentines every year and their classes are quite big. So whatever it is we make has to be EASY. I came up with this cute treat holder. This "box" is made with the two tags die 115954 21.95. You can even fold the cardstock in half and make two tags at once. I wouldn't do more than two layers since there's a score line and the thickness can make it cut instead of score. Adhere the two tags together like this: I used snail because it's quicker and it's for kids at school. (They may not keep this cute box forever. LOL).  But you could use sticky strip for a better hold. Next you stamp the whale with Pool Party Ink, cut it out with the clearlet, draw cute eyelashes and a mouth, then add a bow with our bakers twine. I did sponge a little on the box and whale image. How do you store your spon...
