Perfect Peacock for my Perfect Friend
Saying goodbye is hard to do. I have had to say goodbye to too many people lately. Friends keep moving away. It's especially hard when that person has touched your life in such a positive way. Through my Stampin' Up! business I have had the added blessing of meeting some special ladies. Many come into my life and shower me and my girls with beautiful cards and treats and boxes. They have inspired me and made my girls feel spoiled. They are like second aunts or even grandmas.
Recently one of these special ladies told me she was moving. I probably still haven't had reality hit me yet but I know when it does it will be hard. I have assurances that we will keep in touch and that we may figure out Skype. (I need to hook up my video camera to my computer).
Yesterday I gave her this card. She loved it and I'm so glad because it's hard to impress other crafters.
I used the Perfect Peacock stamp set (133830) wood 14.95 and colored it with blendabilities. You know that one of my favorite things to do is color. When my 11 year old girl wants me to color with her I am there. Usually she's bored after an hour and leaves but I keep coloring. LOL.
The cardstock I used is my new favorite color Blackberry Bliss. It pairs well with the Rich Razzleberry Blendability pen.
Of course if you like a traditional Peacock here's my first try at coloring it.
I hope you have people in your life like I do. I feel so blessed that I am able to share this craft with so many and that they bring so much joy and inspiration to my life as well. God is good.
