Downline Card of the Month

Image
My team inspires me all the time to create new projects, learn new techniques, and just stretch out of my comfort zone. So once a month I send my top ten in sales for the month a hand stamped card from me. This month was sort of along the lines of Valentine's day so of course Love comes to mind. I do love my team and I feel so blessed to have each lady be part of my life. Here's this month's card. I used the foil paper from the add on kit on page 30 of the mini catalog. 133431 or 133432. Both kits are great! One is more pinks, corals and grey. The other is blues, yellows and grey. I used the Thinlits die to make the word love and the new Sale-a-bration punch to make the banner. The embossing folder is also a sale-a-bration item. Decorative Dots. I love this new folder! I almost use it on every card I make now. LOL. You can get these items just by spending $50. Ask me how or visit my online store. Oh I also used some gold ink to create some pattern on plain Whi...

Happy Mardi Gras!

Here's the card that we made at my supper club this month. It's using a ton of techniques. But mostly focused on the punch art of the mask and the embossing. Directions below: Mardi Gras Card Steps: Whisper White (100730): score at 4 ¼ cut at 5 ½ (makes two card bases) Gumball Green (126840): cut with tiny wave trimmer (129409) at 4 ¼   x 5 ½ (then trim closer to make the size of the piece 4 x 5 ¼ ) Summer Starfruit (126839): cut at 4 ¾ x 3 ¼ with straight edge. Punch out   2 birds (117191) in Rich Razzleberry (115316) and one decorative label punch (120907) Use scissors and cut label in half length ways Punch out 2 wings from Basic Black (121045) You can put together the two birds and wings with adhesive. Add dimensionals to back but don’t stick it down yet. Embossing the Summer Starfruit piece: Ink the Modern Mosaic embossing folder (129984) with ink pad. I used Rich Razzleberry ink.(126950) Place cardstock in folder and emboss throu...

Coffee Time!

Image
Wouldn't it be nice to sit down with a friend, drink some coffee and stamp a card? We made this cute coffee cup at my Open House. You could give this to a friend you haven't seen in a while and ask them to meet up for a cup of coffee and to catch up on things. Stamp set is called Perfect Blend (131392). I used Retro Fresh DSP (132993) from the mini catalog. Don't have a catalog yet? Give me a shout and I'll send you one. Thanks for looking and have a blessed day.

scraps turned into cute card

I finally got my camera back from my hubby. He needed it to take pictures of a house he is listing in Fairhope. I knew he might need it and should have downloaded my pictures before he took it but I'm really not that organized to plan ahead. So I was finally able to download the pictures of my messy desk and then of the card I made using the scraps on the counter. Here's the mess: I have been using the paper that came in the Add On Kit on page 30 of the mini catalog. I love these! The Gold paper is from this kit. It's so pretty and shiny! I keep trying to figure out ways of using it on cards. So I took a few different punches and layers a bunch of shapes and colors. I also needed to use the prints pack from the mini. I love this paper and it's great for Valentine's Day. Here's the card I made: I also stamped in Whisper White. I just bought some reinker for it and made sure it was good and juicy for stamping with. That's it for today. I ma...

No camera

My hubby needed the camera so I couldn't download the pictures I took. So unfortunately I couldn't update my blog with my messy desk! I will get it done tonight. Hopefully. LOL. Stay tune.
