Great time with friends today!

I had such a fun time today with my friends. We made 10 Christmas Cards and 10 Forth of July Cards. My friend brought her 9 year old daughter who did a great job making cards. I may have to hire her to help me make swaps for convention.

I got to see my downline's swaps and they look gorgeous. She used the Pick a Petal stamp set. We're going to add some black taffeta ribbon as soon as it comes in. We've got time. Convention is July 21-25. I can't wait! Our group that's going is awesome! We have matching shirts and are usually the first ones to run into the convention hall. We have something special planned for that but I can't give away too much.

Everyone noticed that I had lost weight today too. I'm so thrilled! I've lost 20 pounds so far. I'm getting into pants that I couldn't even pull up. It's awesome! I've been doing the no carb diet for over a month and I feel great. I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing. Still have 22 lbs. to go.

Here's the card we did today. I thought it was really pretty and simple. Class went longer then usual because we had 7 ladies come today. So everyone was waiting for a stamp or ink pad. If I could I would have two or more of each stamp and ink pad for larger groups.

I also am already out of the New Catalog. My ladies all decided to get one. The catalog is $10 but if you join my Stamp Club that starts in August it's FREE.  What is Stamp Club??? In the past I have had a technique club and a punch club. Cost has been $25 and you come every other month. Well I think it's a little sad to have to wait to stamp for two months so I'm changing club a bit.

Club will be every month for 10 months. Cost is a $15 order before shipping and tax.  Everyone will be hostess once which includes $15 free merchandise and one level I hostess set. I'll also make a cute bag of goodies for the hostess. Every month we'll learn something new and make 1-3 cards depending on the degree of difficulty. Whoever is hostess can bring something to snack on. I'll supply drinks. All club members get Mini catalogs for free too. Plus I'll have a club appreciation party at the end of the year.
