Some Punch art: Monsters Inc.

Made this cute card for my friend's daughter. She had a Monsters Inc. Birthday Party. I thought it did come out good if I do say so myself.


I did have to do a little cutting with scissors to make the shape right. But for the most part I just used punches.

Oval punch, corner punch, circles, word window, heart punch, and of course did some sponging.

I've been trying to come up with something for my club meeting tomorrow night but I'm having some trouble focusing on it. So instead I CASED this card from Caroline LeBel. Click Here to see hers. I used Whisper White paper, Sponged Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait. I used markers to color my stamps. Stamp Sets are: Tiny Tags, French Foliage The shimmer you see is the Smooch Spritz in Gold. I masked off the edges and sprayed it. I really like this card. It's so simple but beautiful. Thanks Caroline for the inspiration! Can I enter this in the SUO challenge? Or do I only get one entry?

Inspiration from God

Have you ever read something that so touched your soul that you wanted to share it with everyone? I recently read a blog post from a friend that really touched my soul and made me want to share it with you all. I realized that I was missing something special in my life. I had thought I could live in a state of mediocre. It wasn't a horrible life but it wasn't a wonderful life either. I was neutral. Lukewarm. The bible says that you should not be lukewarm. Rev. 3:16 So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.  God says it's better to be hot or cold. Staying lukewarm is worse. I have realized a great thing. I have been complacent in my life. I have not cried out to God and asked for help with my life. I have just filled it with busy things....

Sweet cookies stamped by my girls

This is just amazing! I was able to pre order the new cookie press stamp set and I love it! I was able to check it out at convention but actually watching my two girls use it and make cookies was so much fun. Here's a short video with my girls using the stamps. They really had fun. Plus the cookies came out great! Look at them after they baked. Those cookies needed about a pound of sugar added to them. LOL. These ones melt in your mouth. So yummy.
